LAB - Part 5, Twigs
The terminal bud on this plant is very clear and noticeably different from some of the surrounding plants. The terminal bud scale scars are also quite noticeable and you can see that closer to the root the growth between them is quite large compared to the growth later on.
This is a very interesting and unusual choice for looking at branches or twigs. Succulents have a different growth pattern compared to woody plants. Do you know how old this plant might be?
